All our foals have been handled extensively.  Upon weaning, they typically know how to lead, load, and tie; they have been groomed and had their feet trimmed.  They grow up outside in small herd situations; they have plenty of room to run and play, and they are well socialized, pleasant individuals. Prices are subject to change as training increases.

For all our horses, we consider loving, long term homes a priority.

05/2010 Oldenburg colt

This adorable, inquisitive colt is one of the friendliest we have had. Besides being tall (we would estimate him at somewhere between 14 & 14.2 hh at 16 mos old) and gorgeous, we are really impressed with his intelligence and his engaging personality. He has big, very balanced movement and great agility and body awareness. He is definitely going grey!

Mojito attended the ISR/Oldenburg inspection at Pepperwood Farms on 9/25/2010. He was awarded the Premium designation, scoring a very impressive 8.4 for his movement and 8.2 overall.

This handsome grey gelding was rated premium at his inspection in September 2007 (see video).  He is both powerful and elegant, with a bold, inquisitive character.  This turned out to be a very cool cross.  He may be your future eventer!   He is currently around 15.2 hh, and we estimate that he will mature between 15.3 and 16hh. 

UPDATE 03/2011: Icon is currently beginning his groundwork in preparation to be started under saddle later this spring. We determined that at three, he was not quite ready to be ridden; he grew up a lot over the winter and has really come into his own. Although he has potential in any direction, he has developed dynamic, balanced gaits that would be phenomenal in the dressage ring. You have to see his trot!

This beautiful mare is personality plus! She is in your pocket, the first one to the gate to greet visitors and admirers. Although as far as she can tell, everyone is an admirer...Samsara is a true sweetheart; she approaches every new situation with curiosity and enthusiasm. She is by Elite Hanoverian stallion Scimitar and out of a lovely Thoroughbred mare with great sporthorse bloodlines. Based on her smooth, floating movement and her refined elegance, we are picturing this filly as a deluxe hunter prospect.

Born on Cinco de Mayo, this spectacular gelding is personality plus.  Beck exudes charm and confidence and even at his young age has tons of presence. 

 

He is quite athletic, and is equipped with beautiful, fluid, uphill gaits.  He is smooth and elegant; we expect this guy to be a serious contender in the dressage ring.  He is descended from such legends as Donauwind, Pregel, and Amiego, to name a few.  His 16.2hh sire Favian has competed successfully in dressage up to Intermediare I.

  

Beck is extremely friendly and quite easy to handle.  He leads, loads, and has had his feet trimmed regularly. 

Isenbeck attended his first schooling show with his trainer, Nicole Kemerling (who is 5'9"!). His behavior was exemplary; he handled the show environment with the equanimity of a seasoned professional. He received excellent scores--60.6% and a second place finish in Training 1, and 66.8% and a first place finish in Training 2. We were especially pleased that he received an 8 for his gaits. This horse is a true people pleaser. He is hard working, incredibly personable and simply charming. We are so thrilled with his progress!!

UPDATE: 07/2011: Isenbeck has moved to the Raleigh/Durham area to continue his education. He is currently working at first level in dressage, with the potential for much more. He is developing a devoted fan club for his endearing personality and easygoing, eager to please attitude under saddle. His price will increase with training, and is subject to change without notice.
